Ashley is the fifth of six kids raised in a high-control conservative religion in Gilbert, Arizona. Ashley followed the expected path early on: married at 21, two kids, and divorced before 30. After some deep soul-searching, leaving the religion she grew up in, and - like any good therapist-in-the-making - plenty of therapy herself, Ashley went back to school. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Communications with a minor in psychology from Arizona State University, and later her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix.
For the past two years as a mental health therapist in Gilbert, AZ,, Ashley has worked with clients across the spectrum of mental health needs. She discovered her true passion lies in helping people heal from religious trauma. Having lived the experience herself, Ashley knows firsthand the courage it takes to step away from a system that once dictated your every belief, decision, and relationship. She loves guiding clients as they uncover their own values, voice, and sense of self, rebuilding a foundation that feels authentically theirs.
Outside the therapy room, Ashley is a dedicated “boy mom.” If she’s not in session, you’ll likely find her at a soccer game, starting another DIY project, watching movies, skateboarding, or at a concert. She speaks fluent sarcasm and will be the first to admit: if you’re looking for tips on hair or nails, she’s not your person.

We emphasize that once a client, always a client. Even after you’ve completed therapy, your therapist remains available for guidance, whether it’s through follow-up sessions or helping you find additional resources.
Therapy sessions are scheduled weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly, depending on what works best for you. We use evidence-based modalities like EMDR, IFS, and DBT to address your trauma, reduce anxiety and depression, and help you heal from past experiences.
We work with you to set specific, measurable treatment goals based on your unique needs. Whether you’re dealing with religious trauma, anxiety, or life transitions, these goals will guide your therapy process and help track your progress.
In the first session, our clinicians conduct a thorough assessment to understand your trauma, experiences, and personal goals, creating a safe and supportive environment for you to share your story.
